NYC Green Jobs Summit – recap and resources

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

The Green Jobs Summit had 200+ attendees at the Fashion Institute in NYC. Feedback on the event was:

Thank You Jane + speakers! It was a great event, helped me get off the ground in the Green area!

I just got back from the Green Jobs Summit at FIT. I found it very informative and inspiring.

We both really enjoyed the Green Jobs Summit and thought it was very informative and thought-provoking, particularly the discussions about “green” terminology and the challenge of locating “green” jobs in the massive, often jumbled job market.

Thank you to the great panel: Emma Bassein, NYSERDA, Catherine Barton, Pinwheel Studios, Stephen Del Percio, Green Buildings NYC blog, and Sandi Franklin; and moderator Jane Tabachnick, Stand For Green
